Hi, I'm Fawne. How are you?

I am an artist living & working in Thomaston, Georgia. I've lived here for over eighteen years, which is the longest I've ever lived anywhere. Over the years I've been able to grow into a productive, working artist and I could not be more grateful to be able to do what I love as a "job". I enjoy trying out new techniques and mediums with my art, from watercolor to acrylic, to oil and even occasional wood working.

I own and operate Flint Rose Studio. This is where I share my artwork, lead paint-along parties, and offer space to meet and greet other local artists.

Fun Facts: 
- I have the very first Etsy shop ever!

- I was born on the same day as a syzygy. The word syzygy is often loosely used to describe interesting configurations of planets in general. It is also used to describe situations when all the planets are on the same side of the Sun although they are not necessarily in a straight line, such as on March 10, 1982. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto was on the same side of the Sun, within a 95 degree wide interval, the closest they have been in more than 800 years.

- I was born in Flint, Michigan, a place that is very near & dear to my heart. & home to a lot of relatives!

- I want to chalk in as many states as possible. So far, I’ve chalked in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Michigan, Kentucky, & Minnesota.
